Cannabis extract oil is a concentrated formulation of cannabis that is applied topically or ingested orally. It works fundamentally through the endocannabinoid system, the superregulatory system of our bodies that maintains homeostasis throughout the whole system.
The effectiveness of cannabis is widely known and observable in people with cancer, chronic pain, inflammatory conditions, and other conditions where smoking marijuana is more effective than many expensive pharmaceuticals. However, with cannabis extract oil, there are two primary differences. First, the cannabinoids are much more concentrated than with smoking, so it has a more powerful effect on the human system. Second, the oil is ingested, not smoked, meaning it is digested through the bodily system that is meant to absorb nutrients.
There are literally hundreds upon hundreds of astonishing scientific studies showing that cannabinoids like tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD), as well as whole plant formulations, can kill cancer cells (it's called apoptosis), protect the central nervous system, correct numerous neurological disorders, allow alcoholics to avoid alcohol, AND regulate all systems in the human body, making it effective in addressing a wide array of diseases, including Arthritis, Cancer, Crohn's, Diabetes, Fibromyalgia, Multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's.
In 1975, the National Cancer Institute (NCI) published research on the "antineoplastic (anti-cancer) activity of cannabinoids." In June 2012, NCI updates further establish the anticancer mechanisms of the Cannabis System by revising their text: "Cannabinoids may cause antitumor effects by various mechanisms, including induction of cell death, inhibition of cell growth, and inhibition of tumor angiogenesis invasion and metastasis."
